Dakota County Jail Inmate Search
The Dakota County Jail maintains an online inmate roster that can be used to search for inmates by name, inmate number, and additional identifiers.

1. Visit the Dakota County Jail Roster Website
2. Conduct a Search
Option 1: Search by Name
- Enter the first name, middle name or initial, and last name of the individual you are attempting to locate.
- If you don't have the inmate's full name, enter as much information as you can in each field.
- Click on Search.
Option 2: Search by Inmate Number
- Enter the inmate's inmate number in the provided field.
- Click on Search.
Option 3: Search By Bond Amount
- Enter the bond amount in the provided field.
- Click on Search.
3. Review Search Results
- The search results will display a list of inmates that match the information you entered.
- Each entry will include basic details about the inmate, including:
- Name
- Inmate Number
- Gender
- Age
- Booking Date
- Booking Agency
- Status
- Bond Amount
- Current Housing Unit
4. Click on the Inmate's Name for More Information
- To view more information about a specific inmate, click on their name in the search results.
- This will take you to the inmate's individual profile page.
5. Review Inmate Profile Page
- The inmate's individual profile page will display more detailed information about the inmate, including:
- Full Name
- Alias
- Date of Birth
- Height
- Weight
- Eye Color
- Hair Color
- Address
- Charges and Case Numbers
- Bond Information
- Next Court Dates
